5 Easy Ways to Use Caravel Gourmet's Habanero Sea Salt in Vegetarian Recipes-Caravel Gourmet

This incredible seasoning is one of our favorites, and adds wonderful, savory flavor to any meal!

Roasted Habanero Cauliflower. The great thing about cauliflower is that it absorbs so much of the flavors you give it, and this salt is no exception. After cutting the cauliflower into ½”-thick pieces, toss them gently in olive oil, sprinkle both sides of each piece with Caravel Gourmet's Habanero Sea Salt, and bake them at 375F for 30 to 35 minutes, turning once.

Grilled Habanero Onions. Breaking out the grill? Make this easy side dish - grab a few large onions, slice them into 1” discs, brush on some olive oil and sprinkle them with Caravel Gourmet's Habanero Sea Salt before letting them slow cook on a cooler part of the grill until they’ve caramelized.   Be sure to turn them at least once.

Flash Fried Habanero Green Beans. Keep the beans crispy and get all of the flavor, too, by quickly flash frying them. Toss the beans with olive oil and Caravel Gourmet's Habanero Sea Salt, put a bit of olive oil in the pan, then quickly heat the beans in the pan till they turn bright green.
Habanero Hummus. When making hummus from scratch, use Caravel Gourmet's Habanero Sea Salt for the salt normally used to season the hummus. The result is a savory treat with a slight, brief kick of Habanero.
Cucumber Habanero Salad. Give this one a bit of time and it will reward you. Chill your cucumbers first, then skin them and slice them into ⅛” discs.   Lightly salt them with Caravel Gourmet's Habanero Sea Salt, and toss.   Let them sit covered in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, then drain and toss with rice or white vinegar for a tasty, refreshing treat!

SALT + SPICY PEPPER

A spice lover's dream come true. This blend of natural sea salt and crushed habanero pepper is wonderful for anyone who wants to heat up their dish. Great on anything when you want to add an extra kick.
