5 Easy Ways to Use Caravel Gourmet's Lemon Lime Sea Salt in Recipes

This salt combines lemon and lime for a fun, easy-to-use that punches up the flavor of everything from chicken and fish to guacamole and cocktails.

Grilled Lemon Lime Shrimp.   Preheat your grill to medium heat, then mix 2 tablespoons of olive oil, a teaspoon of paprika, and a tablespoon of Caravel Gourmet's   Lemon Lime Sea Salt.   Toss the shelled shrimp in that mixture, then grill each side of the shrimp for 2-3 minutes, until opaque.

Cucumber Lemon Lime Salad.   Give this one a bit of time and it will reward you.   Chill your cucumbers first, then slice them into ⅛” discs.   Lightly salt them with Caravel Gourmet's Lemon Lime Sea Salt, and toss.   Let them sit covered in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, then drain and toss with rice or white vinegar for a tasty, refreshing treat!

Asparagus with Lemon Lime & Butter.   Prep the asparagus by trimming off the thick ends and rinsing in cold water.   In an iron skillet (or the heaviest one you have with a lid), heat the butter till it starts to bubble, then add the asparagus, and shake the pan to coat it in the butter.   Cover the pan and cook on medium for 3 minutes, checking to make sure it’s not burning. Uncover and cook a few more minutes until the asparagus is bright green, then add Caravel Gourmet's   Lemon Lime Sea Salt to taste.

Lemon Lime Avocado Toast.   Next time you whip up your favorite avocado toast and sprinkle some sea salt on it, use a flavored salt like Caravel Gourmet's   Lemon Lime Sea Salt to add extra complexity and depth to the avocado.

Lemon Lime Chicken.   You can salt a chicken two ways, depending on how much time you have.   If you’re going to cook in the next hour or two (up to 6 hours), make a brine - add ¼ cup Caravel Gourmet's   Lemon Lime Sea Salt for every 1 cup hot water (dissolve the salt) and 1 cup ice water.   Take the pieces of chicken you’re going to cook, and add them to the brine.   If you’re going to cook 6 hours or more away, then coat the pieces in a healthy sprinkle of Caravel Gourmet's   Lemon Lime Sea Salt, wrap them back up, and put them in the fridge.

VERSATILE, TART, AND SUNNY

This salt blends in lemon for a fun, easy-to-use that punches up the flavor of everything from chicken and fish to guacamole and cocktails. There's real rind in the salt, giving it the flavor burst that you crave in every recipe.
